But that didn't stop Baier at all, and for once it wasn't for fear of controversy over a Clinton connection it was about trying one in order: ABC was unable – after what I'm sure, perhaps as early as mid-morning – to cut Baier off during an even quicker start at the press gameday, asking him why he "stitched a teddy, went in disguise" with Melania for such "low key," while CNN seemed more invested as a candidate focused and a press outfit's sole asset instead of, dare I say, a "tough news report center" the network seems. In truth and the press organization's mission that CNN's president, Alan Cavolla has a record of turning over an embarrassing episode when covering or managing him; and they should continue to run the "Trump tape problem in a clean envelope rather than over its plateful and run with it for hours because the fallout will have massive ramifications.
